Admissions Process
Admission Process
Mercy is not an emergency or short-term shelter facility. The admissions process is thorough. Together we must be assured this is the best and right placement for your child. The application must be completed by the child's legal guardian.
To get started, you may call the business office at (706) 277-4883 and request an application.
Next steps
1. The child's legal guardian must submit a completed application and all requested documentation to the intake counselor. Applications may be mailed or faxed to the administration office.
2. The application packet is reviewed by the intake counselor in conjunction with counseling staff.
3. If an applicant is determined to be a candidate, the child and his or her parents/guardians will be invited to participate in an interview to determine if the placement is appropriate.
4. Once the child is officially accepted, placement is scheduled at the earliest possible date.
